As this week has progressed and with the Bible readings, I continue to ask myself, how can having great expectations of God influence my ability to see what God is doing in my life? I wake refreshed and ready for the day after reading the passages. But...I stop to wonder. This week I've heard of family and friends who are facing insurmountable grief, treatments and surgeries. Searching for God's presence in these situations has been my goal...I'm always searching.
My God Sighting for this week is seeing God's beautiful creation in my own family!! The loving kindness and bright eyes of my grandchildren show me God's beautiful creation daily. I know I am truly blessed and have responsibilities because of my many blessings. My life has been blessed with a loving husband and family and now beautiful grandchildren who mean everything in the world to me. The responsibilities are enormous...as with Abraham. I pray today, from Matthew 5:8: I pray, asking God to give me a pure heart, eyes and a mind that is open to see God at work in fresh and different ways.
